We can determine one’s priority based on their plan. The things we prioritize today have a big contribution to the future we look forward to. We may be studying hard right now so that we can get the degree we wish to have or trying to earn money so that we can buy the house and car we always dream of. Those are the plans most of us have and there is nothing wrong with doing these things to have a comfortable life. On the other hand, we often tell ourselves God has a plan for us, a divine purpose dedicated to us. We remind ourselves about God’s plan especially when we are having difficulties in life or when the plans we have for ourselves isn’t going the way it should be. Isn’t that wonderful, to be one of God’s plans? To have a plan dedicated to us? But haven’t we thought of God being part of our plan?

The Lord has the perfect plan for you but is He in your plan? Will we wait until God will say to us, “Am I part of your plan? Because you are part of my plan.” But remember that God doesn’t want to be part of the plan instead, he wants to be the plan. We should ask ourselves, “Are we just making time for the Lord in our most comfortable time?” Let us keep in mind that the Lord is the center of our life, everything is made possible because of Him. It is not a sin to dream, to study hard, to do the things to make our life comfortable but it becomes a sin when we start to love our dream more than the Lord.

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 What is keeping you from running back to the Lord? Why keep Him waiting? Today is the day, the Lord has made this day for you to be awakened.
