Some people say that 2020 is the worst year, but I think it is no different to the preceding years if we live and continue to live our remaining years sleeping. Keeping ourselves from the dark, being immersed with the earthly things, not knowing about our Saviour, and living only for ourselves is what we call sleeping spiritually. We are renewed whenever we start to decide to receive Christ as our Saviour. By confessing to God that we are sinners, believing that our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross and that we are nothing without him, we can finally can see the purpose of life lived for Christ.
Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again. So from now on, we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:14-17)
